Attendance

A student who has less than 80% attendance shall not be permitted to sit for the End-Semester examination in the course in which the shortfall exists. Provided that is shall be open to the University to grant exemption to a student who has attended a minimum 70% classes but failed to obtain the prescribed 80% attendance for valid reasons or recommendation of the Head/ Director/ Coordinator of the Department/ Centre.

The institute follows the prescribed Reservation Rules related to admission in various courses as laid down by the Govt. of Assam.

All official communication to the students shall be made through the Notice Board and Circulars. The students are hereby advised to go through the Notice Board every day on a habitual basis. They may also consult the Academic Counsellor for such information as and when required.

No student shall be admitted into any Programme if he/she is found to have indulged in activities detrimental to academic interest.
No student shall be admitted to more than one course in the same shift.
A student who is found to violate College rules shall be liable to expulsion.
If a student's involvement in any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the authority, such a student would be given liberty to explain, and if his/her explanation is not found satisfactory, that student will be expelled from the College.
A student who is found to have indulged in consumption of drugs or intoxicating drinks, gambling and often immoral activities shall be liable to expulsion.
Admission will be granted in accordance with the rules and regulations of concerned University.
The students shall have to comply with the Regulations for the course, Rules and Orders as may be prescribed by the University & College authority from time to time.
